Followup from #99249 remove some redundant tests and enable missing assertions all the time (#99605) Followup from #99249 Removing the redundant tests for basic hygiene reasons, but enabling the `MustExist` assertions to improve consistency with `task` `task()` always fails if the task doesn't exist, now `prepare_tasks` does as well.
